This is not a scam, but it's definitely the WORST paying option I've seen so far (which is a bummer because it's also the most "gamified", which is fun). In the USA, it has taken me about a month and over 300 viewed ads to get over $1. In other countries, earnings are lower.

• buy your first "passport badge" after you hit 40 plots
• After getting 149 plots (would take about a year of regular free-to-play grinding) spend atlas bucks on extra passport badges, and keep on top of your 30x ad boosts - this could result in $180/yr
